PROFILE  
 
Silke Brigitta Gahleitner studied Social Work, received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and qualified as a professor of Social Education with a focus on 'Psychosocial Work'. She worked for many years as a psychotherapist (A) in private practice as well as in the 'Myrrha', socio-therapeutic institution for traumatized girls. Since 2006, she has been working as a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Social Work with a focus on 'Psychosocial Assessment and Intervention' at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin. She has spent the past four years at the Danube University Krems in the Department for Psychotherapy and Biopsychosocial Health as part of a research stay.
